No tax foreclosures for any Wayne County homeowners in 2020

Wow, this is some amazing news. This is something the Coalition for Property Tax Justice (formerly known as Coalition to Stop Illegal Foreclosures) has been advocating for some time and is a huge breath of fresh air.

Please note, this does not forgive current taxes or back taxes, it just ensures you won't lose your home this year. If you are having trouble paying your property taxes, please fill out an hptap application--it eliminates property taxes for qualifying homeowners.
